Friday July 11 Sea Day to Boston

The entire day was sailing through dense fog. Oh well, its a Sea Day anyway! But it was a cold walk around the promenade deck! 

Programs today were City on the Sea and 150 Years of Holland America Line. We'd seen both before but they are great!

This afternoon we packed. Ugh.Tonight's program was a high energy musical song and dance in the theater.

Tomorrow morning we have disembark by 9:30 and we'll Uber for our hotel - the Seaport, as before. Then we'll see what the weather is like! We don't fly out until 5:00AM Sunday morning.

Some final observations about the cruise:

• I didn't like our room, called a Lanai. I'd much rather have a cabin with a balcony.
• I don't like having a fixed dining time and table. Although, getting to know the same servers was fun! But it does limit your options.
• Not sure I like traveling with another couple. Nothing against the Nappis, but it's hard to do things spur of the moment.
• We ate too many meals in the dining room! Dinner is OK, breakfast not so much.
• Internet takes getting used to. Our Have it All package only allows one device at a time, so was constantly switching back and forth between my phone and my Chromebook. We discovered that Sam's account used her revbiggs email, so we actually had two accounts! So the best advice is to use her phone for photography which would made photo transfer much easier. It took long time to figure out how to get photos from the phone into the Blog. Finally discovered that photos automatically transfer to Google Photos.

Overall, it was a great cruise! We enjoyed all the ports (except may Saint Pierre and Miquelon). The weather was OK, even tho not much sun! The entertainment was generally excellent.

Speaking for myself, I love HAL! This is our 6th cruise. It's like family! But we have discussed trying a different company in the future, just to compare.
